The Masters, Minus the Action

last week, over five days, i spent about 70 hours at Augusta National, hiking up the lush green hills with a 400mm and a 600mm, shooting The Masters.

a good golf photo generally includes action and a facial expression.
however, my edit from the tournament is actionless, and almost faceless.

although the majority of what i shot was action, the less obvious scenes piqued my interest.

i give you, The Masters, minus the action:

Great stuff Kendrick. The collection of images have a great feel to them. I am looking forward to seeing more of your blog posts.

As I said on APAD, these are great. Although I've only been to a golf tournament once, and only for an hour, I can feel your pain...

shawn, does sparks pay you to endorse them? can you please hook this sister up?
thanks!

chris, that means a lot coming from someone who actually enjoys/knows how to shoot sports. the masters was pretty cool, y'know, for being a golf tournament. but i was so relieved when it was over.
hope you and ashley are doing well. hopefully i'll actually meet you folks someday.
